About me

My name is Fatima Tysyachnik

I am a Master of Psychology, working in a gestalt approach, a psyhologist-consultant who helps in achieving the tasks set.

An expert in the field of motivation, passing through crisis periods, realizing potential and creating harmony in life.

I provide individual consultations as a therapist and as consultant psychologist.

In addition, I am a Chartered Economist with over 15 years of experience in management positions as a Marketing Director. Interactions with business owners and top managers have built my business competency along this path. This allowed me to constitute the basis in the approach of achieving goals. And it also has helped me to  understand  what leads a person to success in the ordinary sense for society.

At the age of 38, I faced a serious challenge for myself: having given up my usual way of life and realization in the profession of a marketer, I was looking for my own way of further development. And a series of “random” meetings and events helped build an understanding of where I want to move and how to be realized. A couple of years later, I passed the first stage at the Gestalt Institute, and then received a master’s degree in psychological sciences. This is how my path began in a profession that was curious even in my youth, but I did not have the courage to declare myself and my interests at that time.

I am a mother of two sons, a beloved woman, an amateur athlete in equestrian sports. This experience and professional interest in psychology lead me to a deeper immersion in psychological counseling. This, in turn, helps people I work with to live their full lives and pave their way to happiness.

My story

My story

At the Postgraduate Certification In Gestalt Therapy, there is the practice of preparing a presentation of your path to the profession. And everyone has a different path. I clearly remember all the points of contact with psychology. The first book I read at the age of fifteen was “Development of the Self-Concept and Education” by Robert Burns.

I didn’t go to “psychology” because I didn’t imagine my further path, and went along the simplest and most understandable path: a lawyer – a failure, an economist – bingo! But already at my first job, being the head of the district headquarters of the election campaign of the mayor of the city, I came across sociological research, political technologies, which are based on a subtle understanding of human psychology, and PR tools. My further professional implementation was associated with marketing and PR.

As a marketer for a financial institution, I ran into a group of psychologists who were invited by the owner of the bank to work with the main resource of any business – human. In conditions when a captive bank had to reorganize into a market one, to optimize staff and processes, this became the most effective way for management. By the way, he was a success. Off-site group trainings with psychologists: fairy tale therapy, art therapy, holotropic breathing, which in the early 2000s was something outlandish….

It was then that the understanding, formed from the time of students, about psychologists, as about people who came into the profession to understand themselves, to know themselves, to resolve their internal conflicts, was consolidated. Then it seemed to me how you can help another, if you yourself have not yet figured out yourself. If your life is full of internal conflicts, you can be sad, angry, swear, not have partnerships, be in difficult relationships with parents or children. Get sick! At that time I was expecting some miracle from a psychologist, the appearance of a Zen master. However, the illusion was not dispelled immediately, and much later came the understanding that “a person is being treated for a person”. And no matter who this other, whom you meet: he is your teacher, your lesson, your mirror to find the answer in yourself.

My story

The starting point for me was moving with another employer, also a financial institution, to the capital, where for some period I had to live away from my beloved and children. Finding no motivation to remain the bank’s marketing director and taking into account the interests of my family, I returned to my city. It was here that I had to meet myself: who am I, how can I be useful, what can I give, where is my path? With these questions, I went to a psychologist, doctor of medical sciences, psychiatrist and psychotherapist in a neighboring city. I never expected that at a psychologist’s appointment I would speak less than listen. No timing, just a conversation, the only meeting from which I got the film “Couch in Paris”, a set of books and breathing exercises. My path has been determined.

But apparently I also needed a hint. That year, probably the first in my life, I was able to stop. And my youngest son and mother-in-law and I went to rest in a sanatorium. In Tubal, a couple, a mom and a son, joined our dining table. It was not a very pleasant acquaintance, for my mother-in-law zealously defended the boundaries of her kingdom. And the couple retreated. But in the course of our further stay, from the melancholy of an idle life or from a lack of communication, we met. A pleasant conversation ensued: the sons were of the same age, and my mother and I, as it turned out, were a psychologist, found many topics for conversation. I remember at that time I was actively fighting for a chiseled body: daily training, balanced nutrition, self-restraint – no alcohol, cigarettes, sugar-containing products. The first book my new friend shared with me was a book about food and body. My interest grew, and at the same time there was wariness. I did not see in the eyes of this woman the Zen that I was so vainly looking for in my life, and I also did not smell the harmony that my insides craved for.

On the international yoga day, in the same place in Tubal, Guruji came up to me on a morning jog. A dry, tanned old man turned to me in English and asked if it would be interesting for me to learn about yoga. Already in the process of our communication, in a short few days, I learned that he is a monk who teaches people the basics of yoga in an ashram in India, and he comes to the Ukrainian city from time to time, here he has a lady of the heart. By the way, the lady of the heart showed up quickly, introducing herself as the wife of a monk, which led me into a kind of bewilderment. And despite my passion for studying breathing practices, cleansing the body and asana techniques, I quickly realized that this path was not suitable for me. That June, I chose a psychologist for myself, the one whom my new acquaintance recommended.

My story

And then there were years of work, getting out of codependent relationships, parting with children, studying for a master’s degree, the first stage at the Moscow Gestalt Institute, intensive courses and work in various groups. It was here that the truth about the profession was revealed to me, which allowed me to accept both others and myself with all its imperfections, limited resources and opportunities …

But before entering the magistracy, I had another meeting with a woman who was successfully realized as a psychologist, head of the public relations service of a deputy, a teacher at a university. She became my ray, after which I went to graduate school, for some time she was a leader in my master’s project. Through my acquaintance with her, I, perhaps, became convinced that psychology is not only the path of someone who seeks answers and is torn apart by internal conflicts, but also the path of philanthropy, openness and, at the same time, material focus, success, in the understanding that is acceptable to most of us according to status markers.

My training, which took place in groups, not only opened up new knowledge about working with people, but also forced me to recognize my achievements and my strengths. And thus, from a string of meetings, life events: marriage, childbirth, loss of the integrity of the body, loss of meaning, loss of marriage, separation, separation of the eldest son, the first steps in a new profession – a specialist crystallized – I, as a psychologist working in the gestalt approach , and I, as an efficiency counseling psyhologist with a good marketing base and economic approaches in everything, including in matters of efficiency of work with a consultant in any field.

Even at the dawn of my career, as a postgraduate applicant, working on a dissertation on the economy of quality, I came across a simple formula of an American specialist who, in a group of scientists, was working on the restoration of the post-war economy of Japan: “98% of quality depends on management, and only 2% of execution ”. You can learn to manage the resource that is given to each of us in such a way as to enjoy the depth of living, the brightness of the colors of any feelings and truly close relationships.
